Born Harutsugu Fukushima (福島治次), (Shizuoka Prefecture). Regular contributor to Minna no Uta (NHK), animating 11 shorts for the show between 1970 and 1999. Founder of the animation studio Anime-ya. A member of the animation collective G9+1 (Source: Japanese Animation Filmography Project)
