Ebina is Umaru's best friend and classmate; she lives in the same apartment complex as the Domas. She is very shy and self-conscious, especially around Umaru's brother. [spoiler]Ebina develops romantic feelings for Taihei (Umaru's brother) in the spin-off manga.[/spoiler]
