Asahina Haruka

Haruka is a taciturn high school student and "F4" racer belonging to "Komaki Motors". With an obstinate personality that declares "I don't need any support", he continues to run single-mindedly in order to fulfill his dream of standing on the podium. He usually lodges at the Komaki household and works part-time as a newspaper delivery person. [spoiler]On Episode 4, it was revealed that his father was an F3 racer. However: In the year that he passed away, he was performing poorly. He died in a fiery crash in rainy conditions. On Episode 6, it was revealed that it wasn't during a race, but rather during practice session, when he lost control while practising on slick tyres (a decision Haruka also made for his race on Episode 6). Haruka thought he cheering before him leaving caused his father to overdrive. The driving style also passed down to Asahina as well, but only in dry conditions.[/spoiler] (Source: OVERTAKE! Wiki)
